The 0.01% is the lowest of the strengths we carry. This is good for patients with sensitive skin but who still want the benefits of acne and oil control. Tretinoin AKA RA Cream is a Vitamin A derived product, which aids in pore size, acne, and decreasing oil production.
Due to increased skin cell turnover exposure to sunlight, including sunlamps, should be minimized during the use of Tretinoin, and patients with sunburn should be advised not to use the product until fully recovered because of heightened susceptibility to sunlight as a result of the use of Tretinoin. Patients who may be required to have considerable sun exposure due to occupation should exercise caution. Is is recommended patients use sunscreen products and protective clothing over treated areas when exposure cannot be avoided.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are on Isotretinoin therapy (Accutane).
